Ceramic and mosaic media are natural extensions of my 2-dimensional work.  The many visceral qualities of the materials, from moist clay, to shards, stones, and glass lend themselves to organic and richly colored forms, sometimes reflecting or in connection to the environment they are held in and informed by.  Ceramic work is primarily in the form of vessels, mosaic work includes flat and 3-D forms.
